The Frugal Style, to me is a combination of both being frugal and having good style.  Yes I believe they can peacefully co-exist.  That’s why I’ve created this blog, to create a place where you can get ideas for yourself and for your home that happen to be light on the good old pocketbook.

Browse topics from recipes and crafts to home decorating tips and more.  My goal is to provide ideas from across the internet and from other resources.  I will also be dreaming up ideas, projects, and recipes I create here at home.

A little bit about myself:  My name is Melissa, and I live in Arkansas (of all places!) with my husband Eric and my dog Gracie.  I have a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, in Art Studio and Design.  I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
