I found a wonderful sneak peak/book review on Decor 8. I’m so excited for Cheap Chic to come out…talking about a Frugal Style girl’s kind of read! The pages are filled with wonderful photographs, each one like candy to me. I love the kitchen shown below and make sure to check out Decor 8 to see even more pics.

I absolutely adore getting my new Martha Stewart magazine in the mail. I drool over all of the wonderfully styled photos and the neat little projects. The February edition featured these wonderful shadowboxes by Darcy Miller. Her “day job” is with Martha Stewart Living as the Senior Vice President and the Wedding Editorial Director. Talk about a busy lady! Who would have thought she has the time to make such adorable and charming little “Scrapboxes?” Check out her work at Martha Stewart.com or pick up this month’s magazine.
I figure this is the perfect project for frugal girls everywhere. I suggest heading to Hobby Lobby, and purchasing some small shadowboxes. If you wait until the frames go on sale 50% off you can get them for a real steal! (Check their website for weekly specials). I like the idea of layering some beautifully patterned paper (usually about $1 or two for a sheet). Make sure to choose a few colors that match your items and home decor. Then layer in some of your favorite photos and items. …
