Budget Beauty: Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer

Monday, March 22nd, 2010 | By jhamett | No Comments »

I love trying new beauty products, but I don’t love getting undesired results!  So, I decided to save you the wasted money, trial and error by reviewing some products I buy and use myself.   My most recent adventure…home tanning creams.  I am so tired of wasting over $70 on tanning packages just to get a tan.  I also found out that according to the American Cancer Society, tanning beds cause an even greater risk of cancer than previously believed.  So, I looked to the drug store for a healthier, cheaper alternative.

I picked up the lip stain in Everbloom Kiss (#400), which is a light petal-pink.  It went on precisely, and did a great job of filling in the corners of my lips. The product was lightweight and looked fresh, but did seem to dry my lips a little.  I solved this problem by using a layer of clear gloss over it!  The one claim it really didn’t deliver on was that it just couldn’t stand up to the test of time. (In its defense, it did get …
