crazy about…

If you can’t tell from my blog design, I’m a little obsessed with coral and teal.  I love the warmth of the coral paired with the coolness of teal, and for some reason I just keep running across home decorating images with both colors in them today.  Maybe it’s a sign I need to paint a few walls coral, or at least a side table or two.  I have been reminded recently to observe the colors I’m drawn to, and also to create a space I love to work in.  I think my office is about to get a little splash of color.

Do you have any color pairings that are your favorite?  Snap a pic, and post it on Flickr, Twitter or your blog.  Then post a link in the Comments Section below.  I’d love to see what colors you’re crazy about.

spring handbag rundown

I don’t know about you but I love magazine spreads that feature just handbags or just shoes. Such eye candy!  What girl wouldn’t really take all of them?  Entire pages of this season’s creme de la creme, with sequins, lovely patterns and exciting colors.  If only they were all free…

I have taken to scanning the layouts for bags I can actually afford.  I then only consider the ones that are budget friendly, and this past month my magazines really let me down.  Some pages had nothing under $100, and many featured $500, $800 and even a few $1000 bags.  I love a good pair of shoes or a fantastic handbag, but that’s a bunch of money to spend on an accessory.

Since I still want to enjoy great design, but at a reasonable price…I decided to compile some handbags, all under $100, and just as swoon worthy as the ones featured in my fashion mags:

From Top Left: 1.  Canvas Satchel from Ann Taylor Loft – 2.  ASOS Floral Metal Keeper Satchel – 3.  Mossimo Green Handbag from Target
